Hogsback Ranch - World Class Genetics & Breeding Program

The Hogsback Ranch, located near Gilman, Wisconsin, consists of 11 breeding pens on 20 acres of land including a handling corral and facility. We designed this operation and facility to improve the handling capabilities of whitetails. This in turn promotes higher quality of genetics with less stress and better health of the animals with annual vaccinations.

At Hogsback Ranch, we have been refining our genetics using artificial insemination since 2000. The possibilities when utilizing artificial breeding are endless. We take great pride in providing our customers with world class genetics. We offer does, fawns, breeder bucks and semen for sale throughout the breeding season. The Hogsback Ranch has been breeding quality whitetails since 2000. We started out with a few does and now through breeding/purchasing the best genetics available we have over 100 whitetails. View our genetics images below.

Our breeding does all have a minimum one generation of 200" genetics behind them. With most of them being two to ten generations of 200" stock. We have consistently upgraded our doe genetics to stack as many generations of 200" genetics behind them as possible and now we are beginning to stack 300" genetics on top of that.

At Hogsback Ranch, we have consistently improved our conception rates year after year and are now getting rates of 75% or better. We have added genetics from High Roller 418", Maxbo 374", Max 270", Rocket 350", Scout 251", Bucky 331", Corbin 230", PJ 314", Full House 290", Redoy Bill 256", Redoy Weatherby 240", PA Geronimo 251", Banshee 231", and many more of the world's top breeder bucks. Golden Boy 8 X 6 typical mainframe at three years old. 6 X 5 typical mainframe at six years old. 220"+, Golden Boy comes from one of Wisconsin's top typical deer farms. He was raised by Ron Guldan who has 29 years of breeding experience. Golden Boy comes from several generations of 200" BC genetics. He is a proven producer with sons that have 190"+ typical mainframes.

Undertaker Undertaker is a 3 year old son of Flip (280") out of Max's (270") twin sister. His genetics go back to Angus/Chief (Waldvogel) on top and bottom.
